Paper business cards are often lost, thrown away, or forgotten. A TelaTap digital business card gives your customers a faster and easier way to keep your information right on their phone.
After you place your order, you will receive an email that includes your QR code, a direct link to your digital business card page, an edit link to customize your card, and a link to your analytics dashboard.
When someone scans your QR code or clicks your link, they are taken to your hosted card page where they can view your information and tap Save Contact to add your details directly to their phone.
They do not have to type your information manually.
Your analytics dashboard helps you see activity on your card so you can keep track of engagement.
Why It's Helpful
Once your contact is saved, customers can search for you later in their phone contacts by your name, business name, or the keywords saved with your contact.
When you fill in the Title / Keywords field with your profession and services — for example, Mobile Notary Public, Loan Signings, Real Estate — those words are saved directly to your contact on the recipient's phone. That means customers can search for what they need and find you even if they have forgotten your name.
This helps customers keep up with your information and makes it easier for them to contact you when they are ready.
With analytics, you can also see when your digital business card is being used, which makes it easier to understand interest and engagement.

What is a digital business card?
A digital business card is a modern way to share your contact information without using paper cards. Instead of handing someone a printed card, you share a QR code or direct link that opens your contact page on their phone. Visitors can tap one button to save your full contact details instantly.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. TelaTap offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. Your card goes live instantly with your own shareable link and QR code so you can try everything before you decide. After your trial, you can subscribe for just $9.99 per year using the same email address — your card, link, QR code, and everything you set up stays exactly the same.
How will I receive my digital business card?
After placing your order, you will receive an email from TelaTap with your QR code, a direct link to your digital business card page, an edit link to customize your card, and a link to your analytics dashboard.
Can I update my card information after purchase?
Yes. Your delivery email includes an edit link that lets you update your card information anytime. Changes take effect immediately on your live card page without affecting your QR code or link.
How long does my card stay active?
Your digital business card is active for one year from the date of purchase. Your QR code URL stays the same if you renew, so any printed materials you have will continue to work.
Do people need a special app to use it?
No. People can scan the QR code with their phone camera or open the direct link without downloading any app — on either end. Nothing is required for you or your customers.

How does the QR code work?
When someone scans your QR code with their phone camera, it opens your digital business card page where they can view your contact information and save it instantly.
Can I also share a direct link?
Yes. You can share your direct link by text, email, social media, or anywhere online. It opens the same hosted card page as your QR code.
Can someone save the QR code image to their phone?
Yes. If they save the QR code image to their photo gallery, many phones will allow them to press and hold the image to open your digital business card page directly.
Where can I use my QR code?
You can print it on flyers, business folders, signage, table displays, packaging, car magnets, email signatures, and anywhere else you want people to be able to reach you quickly.
Saving Contacts & Keywords
Do customers have to type in my information manually?
No. They simply tap Save Contact to add your full contact information directly to their phone — name, phone number, email, website, title, keywords, and more.
Can customers find me later if they forget my name?
Yes. When you fill in the Title / Keywords field with your profession and services, those words are saved directly to the contact on the recipient's phone. If a customer forgets your name but remembers what you do, they can search a keyword like notary, realtor, or hair stylist in their phone contacts and find you right away.
What should I put in the Title / Keywords field?
Start with your professional title, then add the services you offer separated by commas. For example: Mobile Notary Public, Loan Signings, Hospital Visits, Real Estate Closings. A realtor might use: Licensed Realtor, Buyer Agent, Home Sales, North Mississippi. The more relevant keywords you include, the easier it is for customers to find you later.
Card Page Features
What information can I include on my card page?
Your card page can include your name, job title, company, phone, email, website, business address, profile photo, hero banner image, short business description, social media links, payment links, services offered, service area, business hours, booking link, review link, custom links, a photo gallery, and a lead capture form.
Can I add a banner image to my card?
Yes. You can upload a custom hero banner image that displays at the top of your card page. You can also adjust the image position so it looks exactly the way you want. If you do not have a banner image, you can choose from preset color themes instead — your card will always look polished and professional either way.
Can I add a photo gallery to my card?
Yes. You can add a photo gallery to your card page to showcase your work, products, or services. Each gallery image can also link to a URL so visitors can tap a photo and go directly to more information.
Can I add a booking link to my card?
Yes. You can add a booking link to your card page so clients can schedule appointments directly from your card. This works with any scheduling tool you already use — including Calendly, Cal.com, Square Appointments, and others. Just paste your booking link into the field and it will appear as a button on your card.
Does TelaTap have a built-in booking system?
Yes. If you do not use an outside scheduling tool, you can enable the built-in TelaTap booking page directly from your card edit page. Once enabled, a Book Now button appears on your card. Clients pick an available date and time, enter their name and contact info, and submit a request. You receive an email with their details and a one-click Confirm or Decline button. If you confirm, your client automatically receives a confirmation email. If you decline, the time slot opens back up and the client is notified so they can choose another time. You can manage your availability, block dates, and view upcoming appointments from your Booking Manager.
What is the Booking Manager?
The Booking Manager is your dashboard for managing appointments. It shows all upcoming confirmed and pending bookings, lets you block specific dates or individual time slots so they are not available for new requests, and gives you a shareable direct link to your booking page. You can access it from your card edit page anytime.
Can I collect leads from my card page?
Yes. Your card page includes a built-in lead capture form that visitors can fill out to share their contact information with you — no third-party tools or extra setup required.
Can I include payment links on my card?
Yes. You can add payment links for Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Cash App, Square, Apple Pay, and Google Pay so customers can pay you directly from your card page with one tap.
Can I add social media links?
Yes. You can link your social media profiles so visitors can connect with you on any platform they prefer, all from one place on your card page.

Do I get analytics with my digital business card?
Yes. Your order email includes a link to your analytics dashboard so you can view activity for your digital business card.
What can I see in the analytics dashboard?
Your analytics dashboard helps you track activity on your card, including visits and engagement with your digital business card page.
Does the analytics dashboard show an exact location?
No. Location information is shown as Approx. city/state and is not intended to display an exact location.
How do I access my analytics later?
You can use the analytics link included in your order email. It is a good idea to save or bookmark that link for future reference.
